now that i got my mac more or less sorted out. It's time to do some reflections....

I notice that I've grown much older. Fuck, next year i'll be 24 years old, an age I never thought I'm gonna reach until now, when I'm touching it. Life will still be the same, i will still feel as young. But I guess I'm not now, it can't be help, as far as I want to prevent it.

Signs that i'm an older person now(Which i don't want to but i sometimes feel it's inevitable)

1. I read The Straits Times - Everyday.
Yes I do... And life seemed to be abit empty without the newspapers. In the past, 5 years ago, I would 1stly go for the sports section then to the life section. The entire news reading process would take normally only 10 mins. Sometimes when I'm bored and have really nothing to do, I'll give the newspaper 'face' by browsing thru the other sections of the newspaper. NOW... Things are different, so much different. I'll read from the headline news, all the way to the finance section. Sometimes I would unknowingly miss the sports section. Reading the newspaper will take me at least an hour now. The classified ads section is becoming more and more interesting as the days go by. shit..
I suddenly fast forward myself 30 years into the future, i see myself big bellied, maybe with some hair gone (di zhong hai), sitting every morning reading the newspapers.. Oh my goodness.. shit.

2. Tuning on to the news.
I never thought the news was such an interesting thing to watch. Goodness.

3. Preference of radio channels
In the past, I listen to only 987fm, which plays only the latest hits in town. SLowly, i switch to yes 933 which is the home of chinese pop music, recently I tune in to class 95, cause most of the songs I know and enjoy are there in that channel. Today, i was scanning innocently the different channels on air, and was flipping thru the channels until i reach the news section. Goodness. Unknowingly, I spent around an hour listening to the news of the day.

Goodness. It's more or less confirmed I'm getting older. Jialat.

Nabei. my bros. It's been a month since i last blogged. well, the question now is since everyone knows I'm a graduate now, what the fuck am I doing? How the fuck i spend my time? And how are me and moli doing?

ha.

1. After I graduate, I was so happy preparing for graduation, ordering my convocation gown etc. But ALAS!! Just as I was about to flip the papers for a job that's gonna suit my new 'status' (da xue bi yue), that jibai Lehman Brothers went bankrupt. At first I thought it was just some chapalang bank in USA no $ finance debt but still wanna act rich anyhow lend people money(That was what I thought initially..), so i heck care. But now I know this is just a tip of the iceberg in what I see is gonna be a worldwide domino effect financial crisis. Well I was right I guess, rumours of local banks starting to axe staff (da dao kuo fu) and restructure, and "get themselves prepared for the crisis" started spreading around the papers. And yes it happened... banks starting slashing manpower, wage freeze, bonuses cancelled and what nots. And yes, for now, thinking of switching jobs will be put at the back of my mind... yes, for the time being..

2. Well, end of school means the end of paying school fees, which means I have more discretionary income to spend for my days ahead. Thinking of putting my money in good use, so i signed up for insurance. Throughout the session with my agent, I confidently put myself in the shoes of Steven Gerrad when he extended his liverpool contract by saying "just show me where to sign". Hours after i put pen to paper on the insurance policy, bad news came gushing into my ears about AIG's failure to meet credit obigations in the US. wow! what a time for this to happen. But anyhow, I've signed the contract.

3. I wanted to look for my brothers, yes u guys. But.. Sam is always bz in school, Ben, Ren, Yep etc... all seemed to be missing. Wanted to jio u fellers out fer a movie but guess what, the current screen showings are really bad movies. None are high profile enough for the brothers to gather together to have some fun. Soccer seemed to be few and far between the months now. So....
Yep if u are there, come up with something man!

4. Me and Moli. Things starting to become stable. : )

~~Gather soon Peeps~~

jialat. got a mac, but dunno how to use.

everybody needs to face some serious decision making that's gonna change their future one day. well. to me, this crossroad that i will be facing is coming really soon. in 2 months, if everything's ok and fine.. i'll be graduating, with my bachelor's degree.

well, time to step out of my comfort job of technical support and really go all out to pursue the career i wanna be in. the actual problem is i dunno where and wat i'm gonna do.

friends from local unis will get ppl from different organisations to go to their sch in recruitment drives and they will tentatively get a secured job that comes with a promising future even before they graduate. that's the difference sometimes, between studying part time and full time.. u get all the attention u wan in full time schoolings..

the economic outlook for this year and next year dun look good, well it'll den become quite difficult to leave a job rite now and look for a new one. if i'm really gonna start pursuing my career, it'll mean i need to focus 100% on the prospective new job that I'm gonna be in... hai.... stressed.

so many things to do... so many decisions to make... so little time.

PS: Guys, FYI... Jigu's back. I'm suddenly thinking of planning an OMFC chalet. Will keep u guys posted!

Back from Genting. Havent been there for the last 12 years! Goodness, how time flies, the last time I was there was when I 11 years old. The weather is still v much the same, occasional clouds within me everywhere, temperature ranging from 15 to 25 degress. This time I'm old enough to visit the Casino. 1st time though. It's fuckin smoky, seemed like the entire world's smokers gather there while gambling, made my nose bleed like mad.

Lost $ like fuck. But kinda enjoyed myself like fuck too! Ha!
